Oh my gosh, I’m so excited. Is it set in a particular place or time? I guess they’re outside of time being ghosts…?
I’m setting the house outside my mother’s hometown in central Kentucky, and the livespan/deathspan of Victoria lasts the entire 20th century. Much of the activity within the house exists as a kinda micronation only concerned with itself, but the different living tenants (and soon to be dead tenants) bring time-period flare. For instance, Victoria died in the early 1900s, Lancaster died 15-20 years later, and Abby and Michael die in the 40s and 50s. There is also a Civil War general unearthed during a renovation, a poltergheist from the 30s, and a team of present-day ghost hunters that come in and explore the place in real time. I have yet to decide if the story should continue linerally throughout the century, or if I should splice the present-day paranormal investigation in chapter by chapter as a side-story. This is why it’s still in pre-production :)
I do love the ghost busting aspect of it… So, do we get a general overview of the plot, or is it too soon for that?
Sure, Ill stash it under a READMORE for those interested

I’ve actually had fun AU’ing it to present day :) Since the world we’re living in is sort of pseudo dustbowl/fantasy/western, bringing the characters to the present is something I’ve had fun doing — but it can AU any way you like, really. Any world where there is one class that’s being repressed or downtrodden you have Curses, and whether or not magic exists, Cat is the one willing to bridge the gap between those maintaining a degrading status quo and representing the little guy. I’m hoping it’s big enough to inspire a lot of crazy fanfiction, I think the world it tons of fun and can translate a bunch of different ways.

“Ghosts” is my next writing project when I’m done with Threadcaster. It’s in what you’d consider “preproduction” at the moment — I know the characters and story beats but no real outline just yet. if you see Victoria, Lancaster, Rainey, Abby and Michael or any variety of dead people, those are from Ghosts. It’s about a haunted house, specifically the child ghost Victoria, and all the lives and deaths that exist within. Vicky and Lancaster are the leads, they are both dead. They met in the afterlife and took to each other as two of the more intelligent haunts in the house. Others like Victoria’s father and Lancaster’s wife also haunt the place but they do little more than exist… unlike the other two who converse, resepect, and really grow to cherish each other.

“Regular” I guess :) A print novel hopefully to be published soon, I’m currently sending it to literary agents. I’ll def keep everyone posted with it.
If you’re interested in finding more though, you can search the Threadcaster tag on my page/tumblr in general, or follow Threadcaster’s tumblr page/ facebook page/ twitter account/ website/ deviantart page… although this account here’s you’re already following tends to be the most active and informative of all of them. -_-

Cat and Peter are the lead characters in the novel I’ve been working on. It’s called Threadcaster, about a world dying of a plague that turns its people into various elements. Peter is Cat’s childhood best friend, they’re inseparable except that he’s turning to stone and is going to die soon. Cat embarks on a quest to end the plague, but the question is always whether Pete will survive to see the rehabilitation of their world or not.
Cat’s full of a lot of suppressed emotion.
(if anyone wants to send asks inquiring about characters or stories or whatever you will always make my day regardless what’s going on, just saying)
and letting people know that infusion day went fine yet again.

This week started out with a bang, as Monday Amanda and I went on our third of three Paddywagon tours. This one took us to a town called Kinsale, another called Cobh, and finally to one of the last major Irish landmarks we’d yet to see - Blarney Castle.
Even before we had booked the…
The Horror of Our Love || Ludo
I’m a killer
Cold and wrathful
Silent sleeper
I’ve been inside your bedroom
I’ve murdered half the town
Left you love notes on their headstones
I’ll fill the graveyards
Until I have you
Should be asleep but for some reason the night before an infusion I can’t quite relax… maybe I should have taken a prexanax xanax
I know it’s 1am, but I really kinda wanna just put on Roger Rabbit and stay up all night.
Also his sibling/cousin, Habbit (aka hatchrabbit, aka rabworth, aka ratchit)
I’m not watching Cooking with David because the two minutes I spent in there felt unhealthy. I don’t think it’s good for him or me that I peek in his living room window and watch him cook.

Of course regular commission prices still apply — if you want me to draw something not Red vs Blue related, discount
Am I the only one who wonders how the Spine moves his mouth? Even with the new design, his face mostly appears to be a solid plate of metal, yet he might have the widest range of facial expressions of any of the bots. I know there’s going to be suspension of disbelief involved in any robot design,…

I’m working on the cover of this months Scribe. Come visit if you like.
